From your Settings page, under Connected Accounts, click the “connect” button next to "Exchange Account.”
You will be asked to enter your:
- Domain\Username (or UPN)*
- Email address
- Current email password
*In the Domain\User Name\UPN field, enter a domain in this exact format: domain\username.
For example, if your email address was email@example.com, you would enter: examplecompany\michael. Leave the Server Address field blank. Sometimes typing in your full email address in this field works as well.
If you receive an error message or nothing happens, click on “Show Advanced Options.”
From here you will need to try entering your Exchange server address in the Server Address field. Exchange server addresses vary among accounts. They are typically the web address you use to check your email online, entered in the format: https://[youremaildomin.com]/ews/exchange.asmx.
Your Exchange server address can also be found by looking in the email settings or preferences in your Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, iPhone, or other smart phone.
If you don’t know your Exchange server address, try these formats:
If none of these work, contact your company’s IT department and request your “Exchange server address.”
Finally, click Connect.
Find Your Exchange Information in Outlook
Follow these steps to find the required Exchange information in Microsoft Outlook.
Note: The steps and images shown here are for Mac OS X. Steps and images for Windows vary slightly depending on the version.
1. In Outlook, click the Outlook menu item and select Preferences.
2. Click Accounts.
The Accounts screen shows the email address and username to enter in Refer.com.
3. Click Advanced.
4. Click the Server tab.
The Server field under Microsoft Exchange shows your Exchange server address.
